Santa Teresa, New Mexico -- U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officers working at the Santa Teresa Port of Entry made three large drug seizures in a five-hour span Friday. The combined weight of the marijuana seized in the three incidents was 1,166 pounds. (more)

Man Wanted in Vegas for Drug Trafficking, Arrested by Nogales CBP Officers

Nogales, Ariz. - A 35-year-old man from Sinaloa, Mexico, wanted on drug-trafficking charges in Las Vegas, was arrested Sunday by Customs and Border Protection officers at the Dennis DeConcini Port.Officers conducting outbound operations removed Javier Garcia Rodriguez from a commercial bus heading into Mexico for additional questioning. Tucson Man Arrested for Drug Smuggling

Lukeville, Ariz. - A 40-year-old male resident of Tucson was arrested Friday for allegedly attempting to smuggle more than 89 pounds of marijuana into the United States through the Lukeville Port. Customs and Border Protection officers assigned to the Tucson Field Office referred Zenos John Rodriquez for a secondary inspection of his Chevrolet truck. (more)

Global Entry Arrives at San Diego Airport

San Diego - Officials with U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority unveiled new Global Entry kiosks at the international arrivals area of the San Diego International Airport on July 31. San Diego International Airport is the newest of 27 airports nationwide with Global Entry technology. (more)
