Colorado Springs - The ex-boyfriend of a woman last seen Wednesday is now a "person of interest" in the woman's disappearance, police said Monday.

Jaclyn Funderburg, 22, was last seen between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., getting into a 1999 white Cadillac owned by her ex-boyfriend, said Colorado Springs police spokesman Lt. Skip Arms.

Funderburg, the mother of a 10-month-old boy, Jonathan, was reported missing Thursday after she did not show up for her job at Wendy's at Powers Boulevard and Stetson Hills.

Police arrested former boyfriend Salvator Esquivel-Castillo 35, on Thursday on suspicion of involvement in a May 27 domestic-violence incident in which police say he broke Funderburg's jaw and caused bruising, Arms said.

Arms said a probable-cause affidavit was prepared in that case and that Esquivel-Castillo was on "pick up" status through the Police Department.

Esquivel-Castillo is an illegal immigrant, Arms said.

U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement has Esquivel- Castillo on a "hold" status at the jail.

Esquivel-Castillo has declined to speak to police.
