Denver Voters Pass Initiative 100, Suit Possible

DENVER (AP) ― Opponents of a newly approved measure allowing Denver police to seize cars driven by illegal immigrants expect it to be challenged in court.

Voters approved Initiative 100 on Tuesday by 54 percent to 46 percent.

Lindsey Hodel of the Committee to Defeat 100 said Wednesday her group expects someone to file a court challenge but has not decided whether it will do so.

The measure allows police to impound cars driven by illegal immigrants, or by people who are “reasonably suspectedâ€

Oh ya it will be challenged.

Now if they could only bring that law to NC.

Amazing that this all has come so far that we should not enforce existing laws or work to improve them for the public good. Can't wait to see what the plaintiff's arguments will be against this law, but I hope it will never get to the point where it further ties up court systems.

Are the opponents really that stupid? The whole idea is to stop illegals from coming here and WORKING. DUH!
