Is there a law that children of illegals MUST be seperated?
Do other countries have laws against accepting foreign born children? If not, then there is no truth to the media claim that Saul and Elvira must be separated. They are seperated by choice, correct?

I know of no country that requires separation of mother and child. Separation is by her choice and her choice only. Obviously, a hollow ploy (anyone who is not brain dead can see through it) to gather sympathy and enable her followers to wail "immigration laws are unfair, no human is illegal, familes are being torn asunder."

No. The child has a dual citizenship and has every right to go to Mexico with their parents.

They are seperated by choice. He is a minor child. I mean we have people living and working abroad or in the military who have children in other countries and they don't tell the parents you are free to go but the child must stay here since it was born here.
He would have Mexican citizenship because of his mother and he would retain his US citizenship since he was born here. He could just have easily gone with her and come back here when he was of legal age if being "American" ment so much.
She claimed she needed to be with him in order to prepare him for life in the US. What preperation? She obviously doesn't press the importance of abiding by the law, learning English or doing much of anything to have him assimilate into American life. Their too busy hanging on to their "culture" to prepare for anything having to do with living here. Most of these people aren't adapting or even trying to become Americans.....their too busy thumbing their noses at our laws and re-creating pockets of Mexico here.
Outside of the free education and all the other freebies.....it's not much different than living in Mexico.
She's just using the "for the sake of the children" crap to try and gain sympathy. Having children doesn't exempt people from abiding by the law. Being a citizen doesn't exempt you from it either. It angers to me no end that enforcing our laws is somehow anti-family when the majority of these people broke their families up by comming here illegally in the first place. I have not one ounce of sympathy for any of them.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Sure that child could go back home with his mother.
But ask yourself what looks the worst in the eyes of the world and the eyes of illegal alien supporters.
1.Taking the child back to Mexico to be with his mother and his family.
2.OR the vision of a little boy being left behind because the mean old Evil Americans have ripped a child away from it's mothers arms through deportation.
Which one gets more milage, sympathy and media coverage?
That is all your going to hear from Illegal supporters, ACLU, CASA, Laraza, Geraldo, and lets not forget dear Cardinal Mahony amoung many others.
Either way she will be view as a saint, a victim or BOTH.
She will either say that she left her young son behind for a better life and a better opportunity here in America,,,,or she will say she left him behind because she had no real home to go back to and did not want her son living on the streets of Mexico.
And now my fellow American Citizens get ready for the Racisim card to be thrown about....threats of boycotts, walking off of jobs, street marches, and school closings all in the name of Elvira the Martyr

Absolutely, as many others have said, I too believe her leaving the "sanctuary" was an orchestrated plan. It did seem almost as she knew she was going to be picked up. Now she can work on the sob story of us mean horrible people separating mother from child. She will be a symbol for a lot pf protests, plams, etc. to come.
