Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas is investigating the Board of Supervisors to find out if they knowingly hired illegal immigrants.

Thomas says the county extended its contract with Handyman Maintenance Incorporated and gave them six months to comply with the employer sanctions law.

"Two days ago, Sheriff's deputies went to speak to county officials to try to find out what happened in regard to the extension of this contract," Thomas said. "They were rebuffed, and were not granted interviews, were not granted access to documents."

Thomas says it's too early to know what their next move will be.

"Did the county extend other contracts in the same way? If so, why? If not, why did they do so for HMI? These are important questions, and the Sheriff and I would like some answers."

HMI was raided by the Sheriff's office this week. Sixty illegal immigrants were arrested.

Oh, so now our wonderful CBOS is hindering a criminal investigation and obstructing justice are they?

On Mary Rose Wilcox' orders? Bet on it. The BOS is a one person operation.....hers.

And she's been running that show for years using race to manipulate and control her colleagues as well as anyone who speaks out against her, calls for investigations, etc.

Thomas says it's too early to know what their next move will be.

Seizing records, documents, etc. from Wilcox and arresting her criminal ass would be a good next move.

The day that happens, if everyone in the country stops to listen closely and the wind is blowing just right, they will be able to hear the sounds of cheering coming from Maricopa County

LOL.......damned right start with Wilcox!! As soon as news of this raid broke I said it........they will find her involved in this up to her eyeballs.

It would not surprise me in the very least to find out that HMI is some subsidiary of the LLC (s?) owned by her and that husband of hers. But whatever the case, it's an absolute given that they are engaged with this company somehow and making a bundle off of this contract, as well as making sure that her special-interest group......illegal aliens.....is benfiting and displacing American workers.

Those two have been up to no gd good forever and just barely gotten away by the skin of their teeth a few times, leaving MC residents their only consolation in the fact that eventually they'd screw up big time and not be able to wiggle out of it.

Hopefully, this will be the big screw up we've been waiting for.

You have to love Andrew Thomas. Go get em!

This is tooo funny and I would guess Sheriff Joe and Thomas already know the Board is involved in some illegal activity.

I bet the Wilcox Rats are scuring all over today trying to cover up their law breaking trail.

Though I am not too familiar with the MC BoS situation reading this article made me think 'Corruption" plain and simple.
