This building must be home to patriots

With the start of every new year, many of us make lists of hopes and wishes we would like to see accomplished for ourselves and our families. I have made the following list of what I would like to see in the Congress we choose next year:

-A Congress which actually understands and respects the U.S. Constitution.

-A Congress which places U.S. sovereignty ahead of any and all policies put forth by the United Nations..

-A Congress which will not misuse nor harm our military by committing U.S. troops to foreign wars in which the U.S. is not directly threatened.

-A Congress which will begin to dismantle the over-reaching behemoth which is our federal government (close the Dept. of Education, Dept. of Energy, etc.).

-A Congress which will put an end to welfare programs and stop giving money and benefits to able bodied people who simply choose not to work.

-A Congress which will cut off all foreign aid.

-A Congress which will actually defend this nation's border with Mexico and place sensible limitations on all immigration to this country.

-A Congress which will formally bring an end to the proposed North American Union, and fully expose the to the American people the illegal and disastrous agreement entered into by President Bush.

-A Congress which will stop allowing China to dump their slave-made and dangerous products on our shores by invoking much higher tariffs and a strict inspection policy. Thus forcing greedy American companies to re-open factories in this country.

-A Congress which will veto all spending bills which contain non-Constitutional expenses.

-A Congress which will not direct nor allow the Federal Reserve to continue printing money out of thin air and stop the devaluation of our dollar.

After the election of four globalist presidents; the implementation of NAFTA, CAFTA, and the beginning of the SPP; and spending this nation into financial ruin...We desperately need Congressional leaders who are strict Constitutionalists and who will place the protection of Americans before that of all others.

This country simply cannot survive three more years of another business-as-usual, socialist president. We desperately need a Congress which will block every damaging move that Obama makes.
Unfortunately, both the Democrat and Republican parties could now best be described as the left and right wings of the American Socialist Party.

The Democrats no longer even attempt to hide their socialist aims while the Republicans hide their leftist tendencies behind their supposed religious beliefs.

We must elect independent conservatives to Congress, and leave both major parties behind, much the same way they have left us behind.

In 2009, may we be wise enough to never again elect a liberal who pretends to be a conservative, and may we be brave enough to rely only on ourselves instead of government.
