    Negative Association:

    I phoned Sen. Durbin today re: DREAM and I referred to him as Tricky Dickie Durbin. The staff person repeated the phrase. It occurred to me that a negative slogan could possibly be passed along to the Senator. Senators do not like easily repeated slogans that are negative. If you want, please use this phrase when you call or e-mail. It will not hurt our cause for him to think voters view him in this manner.

    Sen. Lott DREAM

    Today, phone call revealed No vote on DREAM. Told staff that Citizens should have sent the ear wax removal kit long ago. Did she know a wholesaler where we could get a good price so that a steady and amply supply would always be handy? You might ask when you call if he is in need of addition ear wax removal as it is imperative that he be able to hear the voices of the Citizens.

    Lugar is extremely arrogant. He refuses to listen to us.
    I sent him a letter letting him know that i will vote against
    him until he is out of office.
    I will send him a message letting him know that he is
    thought of as Lame Lugar or Tricky Dick Lugar.

    It's very unfortunate that he won the last election. He won't be up again for re-election until 2012. The problem with the 17th amendment is that we were never supposed to be voting for senators, senators were STATE representatives, and were elected in the state houses.

    This scam we call the federal government is basically 2 houses of representatives. I truely believe the 16th and 17th amendment is what destroyed the checks and balances we used to have.
