Janet Napolitano, boss lady at the Department of Home Land Security, has apparently expanded her sphere of influence beyond groping and fondling at U.S. airports to the new and vitally important horizon of seizing domain names.

The investigative arm of the Homeland Security Department appears to be shutting down websites that facilitate copyright infringement.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has seized dozens of domain names over the past few days, according to TorrentFreak.

ICE appears to be targeting sites that help Internet users download copyrighted music, as well as sites that sell bootleg goods, such as fake designer handbags.

The sites are replaced with a note from the government: “This domain named has been seized by ICE, Homeland Security Investigations.â€

The investigative arm of the Homeland Security Department appears to be shutting down websites that facilitate copyright infringement.

ICE appears to be targeting sites that help Internet users download copyrighted music, as well as sites that sell bootleg goods, such as fake designer handbags.

The sites are replaced with a note from the government: "This domain named has been seized by ICE, Homeland Security Investigations."

For instance, 2009jersey.com, 51607.com, and amoyhy.com have each been seized.

One of the site owners told TorrentFreak that his site was shut down without any notice or warning.

The effort come as Congress considers the Combatting Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act (COICA). Critics, including Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) say it is too heavy-handed. He has vowed to put a formal hold on the bill.

They said they didnt have the resources to deport Illegal Aliens and they turn around and take on the task of enforcing Copyright Infringement this way? Another big fat lie from the queen nasty herself, Napolitano....

More of dems looking out for their friends in the music industry. Besides, dems want the illegals to stay here and vote for them.

Today it's fake Gucci and music, tomorrow it will be any site that says NObama sucks! Steve Gibson and Michelle Obama have been busy little bees these past few mons. Handing America over to Soros wasn't as easy as they thought it would be, don't get me wrong Barry is doing a great job of it, it's just taking longer than Soros would like. What Barry and George don't understand is America will admit we made a mistake and will do whatever it takes to rectify this mistake.
And the mid-terms proved that!

Ironic that they can grab websites , grope people at all the airports , call American returning service members terrorists

Yet they hold secret meetings with la raza , stand and cheer mexican presidents against one of our states , offer amnesties for illegals when there is far more pressing business to attend to
