State police arrest 13 undocumented Mexicans in West Michigan

HARTFORD, Mich. (AP) -- Michigan State Police say they have arrested 13 undocumented Mexican immigrants who entered the United States at Nogales, Ariz., bound for New York.

Troopers say the 13 men, along with a 23-year-old Phoenix resident who was driving, were traveling in a Chevrolet Suburban with a fake license plate.

A state trooper with the Paw Paw post who was patrolling Interstate 94 on Saturday noticed the sport utility vehicle had an odd-looking temporary license plate in its rear window, the Detroit Free Press said.

The license was obstructed, which is illegal, so the trooper pulled the vehicle over.

The trooper then called U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for assistance. But in the mean time, the men took off running, state police say. Officers were able to catch them.

The Mexicans were being kept in federal custody at the Calhoun County jail on accusations of entering the country illegally and are awaiting deportation to Mexico according to the Kalamazoo Gazette.

News is getting repetitive. Will someone do your job, and deport these illegal people? At least make sure they never come back here.

At least they seem to be making an effort in Michigan. Now what
will the Feds do??? Give the illegals a commendation medal?

If past history is any guide, they'll release them once they get an iron-clad, good as gold promise from the illegals to return for their court hearing six months from now.
