    This almost sounds like an April Fool's joke or some border patrols on both sides of the border having some fun with a reporter.

    Perhaps not an April Fools joke, but more media hype and BS to fan the flames of fear.

    First off, Mexican border officials wear full uniforms and are groomed impeccably.

    Second, there is no "ALTO" when you cross. YOu walk across, pay your quarter and go about your business.

    I can believe the harassment by CBP officials though. They treat US citizens returning to this country as criminal suspects.

    After all, along our borders, there is a 100 mile "Constitution Free" buffer zone where you have no rights.
