    Just poor people here to work

    5 Females Bound And Robbed

    MYFOXNY.COM - Five females were bound and robbed in a Manhattan apartment.

    Three men entered the apartment on West 176th Street in the early morning hours on a Friday in July. They bound the hands and feet of a 9-year-old girl, a 15-year-old girl, a 37-year-old woman, a 39-year-old woman and a 56-year-old woman. It's not known if the victims were all members of the same family.

    The suspects took an unknown amount of cash and and took off.

    A security camera caught the men leaving the building. Police just released the video in hopes of identifying the suspects.

    The suspects are described as follows:

    Hispanic, 18-25 years old, 5'10"-6'0", last seen wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses.

    Hispanic, 18-25 years old, 5'8"-5'10", last seen wearing a baseball cap with purple and white sneakers.

    Hispanic, 18-25 years old, 5'10"-6'0", last seen wearing a baseball cap.

    I have something to share, in response to this.

    Our new complex manager and I were talking one evening when he was making his rounds. He is legally here from Mexico and a 100% decent and honest guy.

    Anyhow, he and I talked about how the landlord usurped his 72 hour eviction notice to this group of gang members he gave. He was a little perturbed as he said he thought the landlord did this to get the last little bit of money he could out of them. I too think it was about money.

    So we talked about this towns gang problems, and how young these guys are when they join, and the kinds of trouble they bring. He then said to me "this make me feel bad, these are my people and they come here and do this stuff, and cause troubles for everyone, I feel ashamed". I told him it was not his responsibility to try to make things right for the people who come here and cause trouble, he is a good guy.

    I was very impressed with his honesty, others would side with their own people, despite that they were unhappy with their behavior (that "I'm Latinos, they're Latino, and those people are not" thing). I am also impressed that he feels it needed to be said, most would not have admitted it, especially to one of us.

    Of course, this is the same guy that built a playground for the complex kids to keep them out of trouble, and paid half of the cost out of his own pocket (the cheap landlord only agreed to pay half). He is the kind we want here. These criminals need to be caught and deported deep in their countries. I say punish them in our penal system, but then that just costs us more money.

    That is the problem I agree. "These are my people" when in fact they are not his people. Hard working Americans who have migrated here legally, no matter when. Have every right as any American and should not feel ashamed of anyone else here illegally. My advice to him is be apart of the resolution,

    I agree, they need to let go of the tribal mentallity that constantly is with them. I did try to explain that he is not the problem and he is apart from these people, not a part of them and should not feel he needs to apologize for them. I explained that when there are white trashy people causing trouble, I know that I have no connection to them or their troubled lives just because they are white and I am white, in our society, we believe in personal responsibility, this is what they need to do and start holding each other accountable as we have learned to do over the centuries.

    For some reason, this is a difficult one for them, I know it does have to do with they way you are raised and the society you lived in all your life, it becomes ingrained in them. So with someone who is really trying to change as he is, we have to applaud them recognizing the problems and attempting to do different, which I see he is, but of course, there is still that little voice he always grew up with, telling him these are "his people" and it is hard to change his thinking all at once, this takes time.
