The Organization of American States (OAS), as well as the Salvadorian and Bolivian governments Friday condemned the recent killing of 72 South and Central American immigrants in Mexico.

The bodies of those killed were found at a ranch in Mexico's Tamaulipas state after government troops clashed with suspected drug-cartel gunmen there.

"I want to express our most sincere sympathies for the Salvadorian citizens brutally murdered in Mexico," OAS Assistant General Secretary Albert Ramdin told a press conference at the Salvadorian capital.

Ramdin said OAS member states must pay attention to the migration and security issues.

Salvadorian Foreign Minister Hugo Martinez told reporters at least 12 Salvadorians were among the victims and called for a "global response" to the incident.

"If the criminals do not respect the borders and codes, it is urgent that the government work together," he added.

On Friday, the Bolivian government issued a statement, expressing its strongest condemnation toward the "coward" acts which ended with the life of the 72 migrants.

What is lost in this story is where these people were headed.

People must vote out the people presently in Congress...or else we will sink completely.

When you see McCain returning to Congress after 23 years of promoting and passing legislation to destroy Western civilization...you must understand we are losing the battle.

Now they are "U.S. bound economic migrants!"

August 28th, 2010 8:36 am ET. In a recent Guardian article discussing this week’s drug cartel massacre in Mexico of 72 Honduran, Salvadoran, Brazilian and Ecuadorian nationals making their way to the United States, reporter Jo Tuckman wrote: “The massacre has focused attention on the vulnerability of US-bound economic migrants as they cross Mexico.â€
