Law students also spoke about the law school’s partnership with Catholic Charities of Arkansas Immigration Services to create a rapid-response team of students who would function as volunteers helping families of arrested aliens obtain social services or other humanitarian aid in the aftermath of workplace raids. They don’t do legal work, but function more like social workers, organizers said.

So where does all this outpouring of help and support come from when Americans themselves have lost their lives to illegal alien crimes? Or lost jobs and homes due to cheap labor coming across the borders.

Oh ,they do jobs that Americans do not do?

Illegal immigrants work in many sectors of the U.S. economy. According to National Public Radio in 2005, about 3 percent work in agriculture

Federal detention centers are only supposed to house an illegal alien until you line up a hearing, get a deportation order from a judge, and arrange the transportation. I think one of the problems which has been devised and created by this and other administrations kissing illegal immigration is that they detain them while they appeal their deportation for this excuse or that excuse.

The rule should be simple and I strongly suspect it is but that it's being subverted by traitors in our government, and that rule should be if you are in our country illegally without permission, no visa, no green card, no permit, then you're out of here. Period. It should be a very simple routine check of citizenship and immigration status that should be completed within 24 hours of your arrest, you should have a hearing within 48 hours of that determination, and deported within 72 hours after that. This process should not take more than 2 weeks maximum.

If illegal aliens want to hire an immigration attorney to try to argue some sob story before the judge then, they'll have to do that after the illegal alien is deported as part of an immigration process, not as an excuse to delay deportation.

There will be some mistakes, some technicalities, some special circumstances that sipped through the cracks, but those will be few and far between and resolved properly. But not while US taxpayers are underwriting very expensive detainment. After they're back in their country of origin.

No one wants to see US citizens deported by mistake. No one. Will that happen? It's possible. Is it likely to happen? Very doubtful especially now with all the electronic data the US government has on US citizens.

So, it's time to fast track this deportation process. It's also time to investigate all relatives and co-habitants and family so all illegal aliens related or associated with the illegal alien arrested can be deported with them. 1 bird, 12 ore more stones.

Wake Up ICE. You're dodging, you're caught, you're exposed and Americans are not, I repeat, ARE NOT, going to tolerate your subversion to our laws or their intent and purpose lining the pockets of the prison industry. Got it? I hope so. I'm so mad at ICE right now, I would support de-funding the entire operation, except for their records system, and giving the rest of the money to the states to process these people out of here.

Illegal felons are kept in jail until their sentence is completed and then they are deported. Police found that many of them who were charged and then deported ended up being released from jail after paying off people in their country. They would then return to the United States illegally under an assumed name. Police would pick them up for another crime such as drving without a valid driver's license (NVDL) and they would get fingerprinted and the prints would come back to their ture identity and the felony past would show up. The jail in the country would be notified and the people would say that we are mistaken as the person is in jail there. It was only when law enforcement agencies actually flew down to countries where the felons were from and went to the jails to verify that the people were there did they catch the scam.

There should be no "focus" on "criminal aliens" convicted of other crimes by immigration authorities. Those crimes are prosecuted under state laws in most cases and the only role the feds have in those is to deport them as soon as they've completed their sentence which has nothing at all to do with an immigration mission to keep illegal aliens out of the country and deport hose who are here. An illegal alien stealing a job, dropping anchor babies they can't support, signing up for charity, food stamps, MediCaid, welfare, education and health care services they don't pay for, driving on our highways and killing our people are just as harmful to the United States as the drug trafficker running drugs for money or the gang banger killing competitors.

Get them all out, without prejudice, bias, exception or "focus". All of them. Out NOW. Americans won't be content or satisfied until this mission long overdue and one that shouldn't have been necessary to begin with is finished.

I agree they all need to be deported but that alone won't help if they can easily slip through the border again. There are numerous things the government could do to encourage them to leave. The first they need to do is to secure the border and then heavily fine those who employe them, take away anchor baby benefits and any other benefits to illegals. If there are no jobs and no benefits then they would leave. Unfotrunately that falls on deaf ears.

Oh yes, absolutely swatchick. Securing the border immediately so when we deport them they can't get back in is essential. We must secure the border as well as deport illegal aliens. We also must fine them, confiscate their possessions, refuse to pay them for working here illegally, fine and jail their illegal employers, aiders, abetters and harborers and shut down their advocacy organizations that use 501 C 3 not-for-profit tax-exempt "charity" status to line their pockets lobbying and conducting political activity under false pretenses. Like National Council of La Raza and its 300 affiliates nationwide. These are political action committees, not charities, and they need to be shut down from using tax exempt status to raise funds and secure grants to conduct these clearly anti-American political activities on behalf of foreign nationals, legal and illegal.

If we pass the FairTax, they'll lose their corporate sponsors and political contributors. But we also need to change the 501 C 3 code that prohibits any organization that is race, ethnic, religion or culture based from having this status. When you're in the charity business using tax exempt contributions to fund your organization, then you have to provide whatever "charity" you're offering to people of all races, ethnicities, religions and cultures.
