Illegal immigrant arrested by deputies has been charged
BIRMINGHAM | An illegal immigrant arrested by Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s deputies last month was charged by a federal grand jury with re-entry after deportation, said U.S. Attorney Alice Martin.
In January 2000, Angel Pedro Andres, 47, was deported from Houston, Texas, when he was convicted of fraud in an attempt to obtain public assistance in California.
Andres returned to the U.S., where he was discovered on Nov. 24, when deputies with the Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Office detained him.
Anders is in the custody of U.S. marshals in Etowah County.
If convicted, he could be sentenced to a maximum of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at https://eepurl.com/cktGTn
