Obama losing control of the House over illegals
President Barack Obama, working hard to prove he is not "A Liar!" , has been quietly pressing the House of Representatives to ensure illegal aliens are not in the healthcare bill. Pelosi and her crew are turning a deaf ear to the President it seems, placing greater value on the twenty votes in the Hispanic Caucus than on the reputation of their fearless leader.
The Caucus had an audience with Mr. Obama yesterday and must have made quite an impression albeit not a favorable one for the President. The Associated Press is reporting this morning the chair of the House Rules Committee, Representative Louise Slaughter (D-NY) indicated she is giving the Caucus what it wants. In the bill, supposedly on schedule for a vote Saturday in the House, Slaughter says it will contain provisions allowing illegal aliens to participate in the healthcare exchange and does not require verification to keep illegal aliens out of other parts of the healthcare system. Hoyer: House vote may be pushed back
Planned Saturday vote on health bill could be delayed until Sunday or later
updated 8:29 a.m. PT, Fri., Nov . 6, 2009
WASHINGTON - A House leader says Democrats haven't yet lined up enough votes to pass their health care overhaul bill.
Majority Leader Steny Hoyer of Maryland says the vote that House Democrats had scheduled for Saturday could slip to Sunday or early next week.
Hoyer acknowledged to reporters Friday that Democratic leaders don't yet have the 218 votes needed to pass President Barack Obama's historic health overhaul initiative.

He said he still expects passage Saturday night. But he added that some Democrats are still "looking to get a comfort level" with the bill.
Republicans are unanimously opposed to the sweeping legislation.
Voting was set for Saturday on the 10-year, $1.2 trillion legislation that embraces Obama's goals of extending health coverage to tens of millions of uninsured Americans and putting tough new restrictions on insurance companies.
Obama was scheduled to make a personal appeal to the Democratic rank and file in a visit Friday to Capitol Hill. That was called off late Thursday after the shootings at Fort Hood, Texas, and rescheduled for Saturday."Men of low degree are vanity, Men of high degree are a lie. " David

IMO the Hispanic Caucus is anti-American. Why else would they divide themselves into a special group within our congress? They are concerned about Hispanics and only Hispanics. Whether they are illegal make a difference either.

I would love to see some reform. The House and Senate need to be cleaned out and new crooks put in, most of them have been on the gravy train of lobbyists and illegals for too long. Dam bunch of traitors.
