CHAPEL HILL -- The Chapel Hill Police Department is attempting to locate Celestino Gutierrez-Molina, who is accused of raping an elementary-school-age girl.

Gutierrez-Molina is also wanted for taking indecent liberties with a minor.

According to authorities, the alleged assault occurred Sunday morning in the girl's home. Gutierrez-Molina is a relative of the child, who sustained other injuries during the assault, according to police.

Gutierrez-Molina is 44 years old and is 5-feet-9 inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds. He has dark hair and a mustache and may use the last name of Gutierrez or Molina.

Anyone having information about him or his whereabouts is asked to call the Chapel Hill Police Department at 968-2760 or Crime Stoppers at 942-7515. People calling Crime Stoppers do not have to give their names, and they may be eligible for a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
