CORPUS CHRISTI — U.S. Border Patrol agents discovered three undocumented immigrants in different life-threatening circumstances during the weekend.

Early Saturday, agents from the Border Patrol's Falfurrias station found a Honduran national in the brush near Falfurrias.

The man had severe abdominal pain and requested medical attention, according to a news release. He was taken to Christus Spohn Hospital Kleberg in Kingsville, where he was found to be suffering from dehydration.

Later that day, Falfurrias station agents rescued another undocumented immigrant found on the side of the road. The undocumented immigrant was discovered to be a Mexican national in severe pain and was taken to Christus Spohn Hospital Kleberg and diagnosed with renal failure.

Federal agents assigned to the Kingsville station also found an undocumented immigrant Sunday who was lost and in distress on a ranch.

Agents were notified by the Kleberg County Sheriff's Office, which received a 911 call. While searching the area, federal agents located the lost undocumented immigrant, who declined medical attention.

Since October, Border Patrol agents from the Coastal Bend and Rio Grande Valley have rescued nearly 120 undocumented immigrants and have discovered the remains of more than 30 who have died, according to a news release.

I hope the guy with renal failure gets returned to his country for treatment after we stabilize him. If we are not careful he will manage to stay in this country and get free dialysis treatment from the US. Taxpayer.
