TX: Border Patrol agents come under fire

Border Patrol agents come under fire
    By Ray Gomez

    Story Updated: Aug 27, 2009

It happened last night while agents were on patrol along the river at Father McNaboe Park.
There, they noticed two people trying to cross the river, into the U.S.
Someone on the Mexican side of the river opened fire on the agents.
They took cover, called for assistance, and returned fire themselves.
The Mexican army is investigating the shooting on their side of the border.
The two suspects trying to cross the river were taken into custody and were interrogated.
    No injuries were reported.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 'shooters' were in the Mexican Army.
