Police contribute to federal illegal immigrant crackdown

Hatfield and Horsham were among the police departments that contributed to a federal crackdown that led to the recent arrests of 119 illegal immigrants in Pennsylvania and Delaware, authorities said Wednesday.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spearheaded the 10-day operation, whose arrest tally included 38 people with criminal histories beyond just being here illegally. One appears to be a 36-year-old man arrested in Hatfield.

“The United States welcomes law-abiding immigrants, but foreign nationals who violate our laws and commit crimes in our communities should be on notice that ICE is going to use all of the tools at its disposal to find you and send you home,â€
