TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) - Following is a rundown of activities that occurred in the last 48 hours within the U.S. Border Patrol's Tucson Sector. This information is provided to KOLD News 13 from the U.S.B.P. and it is not a complete detailing; instead it is a thumbnail of each incident.

Significant Arrests

Border Patrol Agents from the Naco Station were processing an illegal alien Tuesday and, after entering him into the Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS), agents learned the subject had been convicted for "sexual contact." He was held for further processing.

Border Patrol Agents assigned to the Douglas Station arrested an illegal alien Monday who, according to records located with the IAFIS, had been charged with "unlawful sexual intercourse with a child" in Kansas. He was held for processing.

Douglas agents also responded to a citizen's call Monday with Stonegarden partners, Douglas Police Department, regarding possible illegal alien activity in nearby homes. Officers and Agents responded to the area and apprehended 44 illegal aliens in two separate homes. All subjects were taken to the Douglas Station for processing.
