July 15, 2013 – 255 child predators arrested, 61 victims identified during Operation iGuardian

Two hundred and fifty-five child predators were arrested and 61 victims of child sexual exploitation identified during a five-week operation conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task forces across the United States and its territories. July 17, 2013 – ICE deports man convicted of conspiracy to export defense articles without a license

A Belarus national with federal convictions for conspiracy to export defense articles without a license, conspiracy to violate the International Emergency Economic Powers Act and conspiracy to launder monetary instruments was deported July 17 by ICE's Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO). July 16, 2013 – 4 Atlanta MS-13 gang members convicted on litany of violent offenses

After a four-week trial, a federal jury has convicted four metropolitan Atlanta gang members of committing multiple murders, attempted murders, armed robberies and firearms offenses in Gwinnett and DeKalb counties. The arrests were part of a multi-agency gang investigation led by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the FBI. Full Story

July 16, 2013 – ICE deports convicted arms trafficker to Republic of Georgia

A Georgian national convicted of conspiring to traffic firearms in 2009 was deported July 12 by officers with ERO. Full Story

July 17, 2013 – Former NYPD officer pleads guilty to defrauding immigrants

A former New York Police Department officer pleaded guilty to conning immigrants seeking driver's licenses and immigration assistance out of thousands of dollars July 16 in Dutchess County Court. The guilty plea follows an investigation by HSI, the Wappingers Falls Police Department and the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. Full Story
