Thread: MMP FIRED ON AT THE BORDER

I just got a call from Big Bird and Gayle, they said that they were fired upon last night while Big Bird and another MM were sitting on the truck at the border. He said the shots came from Mexico, but they kept hitting the fence, and didn't hit anyone.

Gayle said that she was chatting with a BP'er when she heard over the FRS radio that Big Bird was under fire, and she said the BP'er took off quickly but he went the OTHER DIRECTION. Later she asked him WHY he didn't go down there where the shots had been fired and he said "I don't get paid enough to be shot at."
Gayle said that the BP'ers DID call Mexico BP to let them know that someone was on their side shooting into the USA.
From what Gayle said, this happens ALOT along with the usual rock throwing from Mexico. No joke!

They said that they're still needing backup and bring ammo (if you can.) They said that they're running short of shotgun shells. (Big Birds words exactly.)

Gayle said that Gilchrist was there earlier and has already left, and it's unknown when he'll be back, and Chase wasn't around either.

I asked about Stew and company and all is said to be allright at present time.

RoadRunner, Keep us posted. This should be in the media soon, I suppose. This could have some dire effects on the MM project as well. Keep us posted.

I suggest anyone going down to the border purchase some sort of rifle in addition to a pistol. Things are getting pretty hot down there and as seen in the above post we cant rely upon law enforcement to help us. I wouldent be suprised if one day they try to overrun the whole camp.

Since it was someone firing at the MM I wouldn't hold my breath the media will report it. If the MM were doing the firing it becomes a major media story. Sadly that is the reality.

Are the MM returing fire? Sorry I forgot, the media will only report on whatever they deem is newsworthy.

If the events that occured on the border at Campo were reversed, the response would be different. They would being running over each other looking for evidence.

I think we all ought to pressure our representatives (both state and federal) that the sheriff's dept and other law enforcement agencies need to protect our guys. And as far as our local newspaper's, we need to pressure them to cover more of what is going on down there. This is just incredible how it is being kept out of mainstream media. But what else is new.

We are all upset about Main Stream Media and their failure to cover the issues like they ought to. They are very one sided and are pushing their own agendas.

ALIPAC, I may have missed it in a previous post, why no Teddy R avatar? I really liked it and admired the man. I still have a newspaper clipping my Grandmother cut out of the paper with the critic speech from TR.
