Thread: Media praises Anchor baby Olympic wrestler

Anyone hear about this, the U.S. Olympic wrestler who won a gold medal that is a child of illegal alien parents from Mexico? Doesn't anyone have a problem with this? Obviously not the mainstream media, they are all fawning over this story, calling him an embodiment of the AMERICAN DREAM. Gimme a break. He is an anchor baby, along with his five other brothers and sisters. NBC loves this guy, giving him all kinds of publicity, calling him a shining example of what immigration is all about, WTF?

He should never have qualified to begin with! How did he get a passport, etc.? Also, I read that his mother did not go to China because she was afraid of being deported.

It's really a fawn job. The MSM just has to print this kind of story to justify their pro-illegal message.

The kid did do a good job but it's no big deal that his parents were aliens even though (sadly) "illegal". Many Olympic athletes in America are expatriates or immmigrants of other countries but you don't see the media fawning over them. Their parents are barely mentioned if at all.

I use stories like this to line to bottom of our bird cage, that's all it's good for.

He's an anchor so making him an "American".

I saw it on evening news last night. Wish more IA's and anchors could do this sort of thing. One thing I noticed was not once did the kid ever say anything about thier beloved mexico. He seemed in awe of the whole thing. However now a good thing would be to encourage his mom to get legal.

Mom should have gone with him. It would have been a different story.

Technically he IS NOT AN AMERICAN. He should be disqualified. I wish NBC and other outlets would stop treating illegal immigrants like heroes.

One anchor wins gold out of millions in this country and suddenly this anchor becomes the darling of the MSM and their pro-illegal invader agenda.

Why don't they take their cameras down to Santa Ana and report the REALITY of illegal invaders and their anchors! An anchor is a million times more likely to drop out of school, join a gang and earn a life-sentence in prison than he is to win a gold medal at the olympics!
