HARRISON COUNTY -- Two Texas men pulled over in a traffic stop are accused of having a gas-pump skimmer and fraudulent credit cards.

Jose Carlos Rodriguez, 33, of Houston, and Pablo Luis Lopez Prado, 51, of Cypress, are also held for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Sheriff Troy Peterson said.

Deputies who pulled them over Monday on a careless driving violation saw a small bag that contained marijuana, he said.

That led to a search of the vehicle, which revealed a device used to steal credit card information from gas pumps for making fake credit cards, Peterson said.

Deputies arrested both men on a charge of possession of a counterfeit device.

They were held at the Harrison County jail. Justice Court Judge Brandon Ladner set bond for each at $50,000.
The ICE hold means they aren't eligible to post bail on the state charge.
