Police say three of four young immigration activists arrested for refusing to leave the Tucson office of Sen. John McCain, are being held for immigration agents.

The two men and two women were arrested for criminal trespass on Monday evening, Tucson police Sgt. Diana Lopez said. Three told officers they were in the country illegally, and a routine hold was placed on them when they were booked into the Pima County jail.

The four were protesting the lack of federal action on the DREAM Act, a bill in Congress that would grant citizenship to undocumented students who demonstrate good moral character.
