20 sentenced on document fraud, identity theft

Twenty former employees of Iowa Pre-Stressed Concrete in West Burlington, who were working in the country illegally, were sentenced today in U.S. District Court in Davenport to varying prison terms, probation periods and fines.

The employees were arrested on April 19 after U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers began an investigation into the use of false social security cards and resident alien cards by the 20 individuals.

These 20 people, listed with their ages, were indicted with various charges of fraud and misuse of documents, false immigration identification documents, false statements in immigration documents, misuse of a Social Security number, unlawful entry after deportation, aggravated identity theft and false claim of United States citizenship to obtain employment: Eleuterio Garcia-Gil, 46; Victor Manuel Peregrino-Solis, 35; Sergio Guillen-Figueroa, 35; Juan Antonio Lopez-Martinez, 28; Eliazar Garcia-Vega, 28; Reinaldo Garcia-Munoz, 21; Carmelo Moreira-Martinez, 20; Ezequiel Oronia-Vera, 31; Adalberto Ayala-Fuentes, 23; Jesus Quiroz-Lopez, 24; Jose Javier Munoz-Camarillo, 54; Lorenzo Garcia-Ignocencio, 47; Jose Martinez-Hernandez, 28; Pablo Lopez-Martinez, 20; Juan Gabriel Garcia-Vasquez, 23; Jesus Munoz-Lopez, 33; Daniel Ayala, 27; Francisco Raul NaJera-Gonzalez, 24; Ruben Moncada-Munoz, 28; Adelino Nunez-Martinez, 38.
