Deputies arrest illegal immigrant with forged license

GLEN -- An illegal immigrant from Honduras was arrested on New Year’s Eve when he tried to pass off a fake driver’s license, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Tomas Martinez Rocha, 25 of the Bronx, was pulled over for speeding on State Highway 5S in the town of Glen.

Upon his arrest Rocha admitted to buying a fake license and Social Security card on the Internet for $800.

Rocha has a Honduran passport he obtained after he came to the US, deputies said.

He’s being held at the Montgomery County Jail on $15,000 bail.
