    Huckabee Leads Poll-Pawlenty is better!

As I remember from the last election - Huckabee is soft on illegal aliens isn't he? I saw him in a debate in Iowa and I remember him being one of the worst ones in regards to illegals.

Out of the men below I like Gov. Pawlenty the best - he is my Governor and has done a great job in a very liberal state. He also is not afraid to go after the illegal alien issue (here's an example http://news.minnesota.publicradio.org/f ... ationplan/) and also is not afraid to cut (and slice) pork out of the Democrat pork bills.

As for Sarah Palin - I like what I have seen so far because she's not PC and seems like she would stick to her "guns" and not just forget about the people who elected her once she got to DC like some of the other ones would. I don't know her stance on illegals.

Anyway, give Gov. Pawlenty a look - he's a nice and soft spoken person, but has proven to be a real conservative even though we have the worse liberal media in the country and the Dems have the majority here in the MN House & Senate.

    Huckabee Leads 2012 Poll

    Saturday, October 17, 2009 10:49 AM

Twenty-nine percent of Republican voters nationwide say former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is their pick to represent the GOP in the 2012 presidential campaign. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey finds that 24 percent prefer former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney while 18 percent would cast their vote for former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich gets 14 percent of the vote while Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty gets 4 percent. Six percent of GOP voters prefer some other candidate while 7 percent remain undecided.

These numbers reflect an improvement for Huckabee since July when the three candidates were virtually even. Huckabee’s gain appears to be Palin’s loss as Romney’s support has barely changed.

The numbers for Huckabee and Romney look even stronger when GOP voters were asked which candidate they would least like to see get the nomination. Pawlenty came on top in that category with 28 percent. Palin was second at 21 percent while 20 percent named Gingrich. Romney and Huckabee were in the single digits with 9 percent and 8 percent, respectively.

Huckabee and Romney are viewed favorably by 78 percent of Republican voters, Palin by 75 percent. Gingrich earns favorably reviews from 69 percent while Pawlenty is less well known and gets a positive assessment from 45 percent of Republicans.

Republican voters are very confident their nominee could be the next president of the United States. Eighty-one percent of the GOP faithful say that it’s at least somewhat likely the Republican nominee will defeat Barack Obama in 2012. Fifty percent say it’s very vikely.

Romney leads all prospects among voters who attend church once a month or less. Huckabee leads among more frequent churchgoers. Huckabee holds a huge lead among Evangelical Christians with Palin in second and Romney a distant third. Huckabee and Romney are essentially even among other Protestants while Romney has the edge among Catholics.

Romney leads among Republicans earning more than $75,000 a year while Huckabee leads among those who earn less.

William, THEY are not for amnesty, BUSINESS / CHAMBER OF COMMERCE is for AMNESTY, politicians only do thier bidding.

This is big money and big trouble. The tactics are difficult to deal with, we need a definitive strategy, which would most likely involve millions of dollars. They see immigrants as replacement for American workers, as labor that they arent shipping overseas.

This will inevitabley lead to ethnic fractures as in California where racism and ethnic identity go hand in hand. Liberals promote racist/ethnic nationalism through 'diversity'.

They will almost always go for a non-white candidate, so with the demographic change will come more and more Obamas, and poof, there goes your freedom. Obama is just a warning shot of things to come, permanenty, once they change the demographics.

I don't know if it can be stopped, but Joe Sixpack will see any of the above better than Obama, so the Neo-cons will again gain control.

Bush is already looking better than Obama, if you only get 10% of what you want. Obama is seriously against white middle America, and said so in one of his speeches ('they cling to guns and bibles'...etc)

We should at least focus on congress right now, Reid, Grahm, and MCCAIN, that would be a great victory for next year. Then see what the cards have to offer, how can we deal with the numbers issue.

Very difficult unless you use statistics on Hispanics, 50% dropout rate means more jails, less income TAX, more strain on the taxbase.

So right there, you are taking on La-Raza, so you need Tom Tancredo or his equal.

Pawlenty thinks the illegal aliens in this country deserve a path to citizenship, or at least that's how he did feel. It's hard to find any info on how he feels about amnesty now.

I have heard Pawlenty is for pathway to citizenship infact have posted it on here before and why does everyone keep talking about getting Graham (SC) out, sorry but the fools in SC re-elected him in the last election and now we must tolerate him for 6 more years.
