The U.S. Immigration law is very clear that it is a federal crime to assist any illegal alien from entering, living or working in the United States.

TITLE 8, CHAPTER 12, SUBCHAPTER II, Part VIII, Sec. 1324. (a) Criminal penalties (1) Any person who - (D) encourages or induces an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of law, shall be fined in accordance with title 18 or imprisoned not more than five years, or both, for each alien in respect to whom any violation of this paragraph occurs.

The Home Depot management has entered into an agreement with La Raza,(the race) to give preferential treatment to Mexicans in its hiring practices. Clearly, this is in violation of state and federal laws regarding discrimination in employment and should subject all Home Depot managers and officials to the appropriate penalties.

The Home Depot chairman Bob Nardelli gave the typical corporate spin to the matter of hiring based on race or national origin. "We believe that our greatest competitive advantage is our associates and the diversity of thought and cultural background they bring to the workplace," said Bob Nardelli, chairman, president & CEO of The Home Depot. "This partnership will help further The Home Depot's ongoing commitment to create a high-performing, diverse workforce that meets the growing needs of its customers and the communities it serves."

Another Home Depot official chimed in. "What it is, we've seen explosive growth (in) the Hispanic community," Kathryn Gallagher, a Home Depot spokeswoman, said. "We see it as reshaping America, including the face of business." (La Vegas Sun, March 01, 2005)

Home Depot forgets to mention that the “explosive growth’ is due to illegal aliens streaming across the border from Mexico in violation of U.S. laws. But, as with any other Benedict Arnold corporation, Home Depot is willing to betray millions of legal Americans and violate the law in its pursuit of profit.

The company cites statistics saying that an estimated 25 percent of the national workforce will be made up of Hispanics by 2050. Hispanics made up 27 percent of the Las Vegas population in 2003, according to U.S. Census Bureau data. A study by the Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada found Hispanic immigrants make up 16.5 percent of Nevada's workforce. (La Vegas Sun, March 01, 2005)

Yet, even this seems like Stupid Marketing 101. It would be interesting to hear Home Depot explain how illiterate, non-English speaking Mexicans, making less than the minimum wage, are going to be buying lawn mowers, kitchen appliances and expensive power tools from Home Depot. There is no marketing rationale for Home Depot’s illegal efforts. The real motive is to hire low-wage illegals by providing them phony U.S. identifications. If you don’t think large corporations do that, then check out Tyson Foods plants in the Midwest; which brought in thousands of Mexicans by placing billboard ads in Mexico offering jobs in the U.S. Go into any Home Depot today. The signs are now in English-Spanish and the announcements are given in Spanish. Get ready for MexAmericana from Home Depot.

La Raza was candid. The agreement with Home Depot means violating the U.S. Immigration law by taking illegals now congregated into the parking lot and giving them jobs within Home Depot.

"In launching this new partnership with Home Depot, it will be a sign that our folks are not just waiting in the parking lot (illegal aliens on Home Depot property in violation of U.S. immigration law) but are actually working inside the stores (in violation of U.S. immigration law)," said Tom Espinoza, president and chief executive of La Raza Development Fund, NCLR's subsidiary in Phoenix. “It will mean that more Latinos will be employed by Home Depot." It is depressing to say that, in 2005, the United States has a President who refuses to defend American borders against the Mexican invasion. But times change, and the backlash against the Mexican invasion is growing. Mr. Bob Nardelli and other corporate executives may be facing Federal prosecutors in the future who might do something unusual, such as enforce our federal laws. Mr. Nardelli might then be a Benedict Arnold CEO in a federal prison.

This is an outrage. How can Home Mexipot get away with this? If they were to come out and say we are going to give preferential treatment to whites only in their hiring practices then the politicans, the ethnic lobbyists and the media would come out in full force screaming discrimination, racism, KKK and demand that they be shut down. The media would cover this nonstop. You'd never hear the end of it. But it's ok when you discriminate and give preferential treatment when you doing it for any other ethnicity. This is beyond affirmative action. Oh this is illegal. I'm sure Senor Bush will led the effort to crack down on this Benedict Arnold CEO.

I now only shop Lowes since I only have the two choices, Lowes or HD

I'll never shop at Home Mexipot ever again. Maybe if thousands would join me in this then maybe just maybe they would change their ways. How is Home Mexipot going to profit with only illegal aliens buying from their stores?
