GOP leader criticizes immigration amnesty proposal
By Associated Press

WASHINGTON (AP) — Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell says if President Barack Obama wants Republicans to go along with immigration reform, he has to drop any amnesty proposal.
The GOP leader says the legislation also would have to "make a real commitment to border and interior security."
Obama wants to create a way for the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants to become citizens, that's what opponents call amnesty. But the president says illegal immigrants would have to acknowledge that they broke the law, pay fines and back taxes, perform community service and learn English.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid says he's committed to passing a bill this year. The Nevada Democrat is in a tight re-election race and could benefit politically from enacting a broad overhaul.

Fill the mailboxes of Republican leaders this evening. No to any form of amnesty and Americans want the borders of the United States secured, just like we do in foreign nations. We also want Mexico to mind its own business. Those Republicans who become Democrats on amnesty and pandering to one ethnic group, good bye.

But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

The Obama Administration has indicated that it won't even begin to secure the border until a Comprehensive Amnesty bill is passed. He's holding hostage the safety & security of Americans until he gets what he wants.
In the 2007 Amnesty proposal, if it would have passed, it would have increased border security by only 25%, according to NumbersUSA.com.
Besides, if an Amnesty bill passes, how will we know that they will fulfill their promise to secure the border? The Washington critters frequently break their promises. Even if enforcement is written into the new Amnesty legislation, future administrations can always choose to simply not enforce it.
Secure the border first.

We all know , its amnesty only
There will be no border security, nothing to enforce any learn English, pay taxes or any of that stuff
We fell for it once
This country better take a good hard look at anyone that credibly promises to fix this mess
At this point I don't care who it is or how they do it , At this point I would say nothing is off the table.

THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN, AND WE WANT THAT BORDER SECURED AND I THINK ITS A BUNCH OF BS FOR OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS TO BE CHANGED JUST TO APEASE A BUNCH OF ILLEGAL PEASANTS AND THIER GOVERNMENT. MEXICO HAS GOT A LOT OF NERVE AND SO DOES OUR GOVERNMENT FOR ALLOWING THEM TO HAVE THEIR WAY.
