MEBANE, N.C. (WGHP) -- The Alamance County librarian arrested for being an illegal immigrant is out of jail for the first time since her arrest.
Deputies released Marxavi Angela Martinez on bond Tuesday afternoon around 3 p.m.
Last week, Martinez pleaded guilty in federal criminal court to using a dead person's social security number. A judge ordered her to spend 10 days in jail.
Martinez was previously in the custody of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), but was transferred to Alamance County, most likely so she could post bond in her home county. The next step will be determined by ICE.

TEN DAYS???
What's the sentence for an American citizen who uses a dead person's SSN?The flag flies at half-mast out of grief for the death of my beautiful, formerly-free America. May God have mercy on your souls.

Good Point
Seaturtle:
Good point, and that is one of the major factors about illegal aliens-what would happen to US citizens if they did what illegals do? We would be put in jail, fined at a much more stringent level.
Imagine going into an emergency room and not paying the bill, my credit would be screwed up until I paid it, and for 7 years after that, yet illegals can do that, then get a mortgage....
