Methodist group calls Oklahoma immigrant bill "unjust"
Associated Press - January 31, 2008 9:45 AM ET
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - A task force of the Oklahoma Conference United Methodist Church says Oklahoma's immigration reform law is unjust and should be reconsidered.
The task force says state lawmakers should work toward a new bill that would provide legal ways for immigrants to get U.S. citizenship.
The law took effect last November and denies public services to illegal immigrants and makes it a crime to harbor, transport or provide shelter to illegal immigrants. It also requires state agencies to confirm the immigration status of new employees.

We already have an immigration policy in place. Illegals just don't want to abide by it.
We need to crack down harder on illegal aliens that are currently here.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

This post in response to the newspaper announcement about this subject reflects my opinion.
"how unjust is the law, when you are wanting to give away in education and welfare benifits and jobs for lower wages to people who are here illegally, why dont you spend your time and resources on the American citizens, some who need help badly but cant receive it due to so much money being given to illegals"
