Tennessee truly needs some help in reaching the state representatives, senators, officials, and those standing in the way of bills moving forward. The majority of this resistance is from Democrats, especially Jimmy Naifeh, Speaker of the House, who does some damage in the subcommittee meetings. He is from the Memphis area, an illegal alien loving town, full of drugs, rape, sex traffiking, gangs and all else that is "illegal immigration." He is another political official representing illegals while voted in to office by Americans I presume. Maybe these so called Americans are the ones profitting from illegal alien invasion and he wants to continue his job. He needs to be singled out for promoting Tennessee's continued blind eye to the costs of this attack.

Bills about illegal immigration _ perhaps the highest profile issue during election season last year _ have not fared well this year. The House killed a proposal to give driver's license exams only in English, and Republicans are trying to resurrect a plan to allow Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers to enforceimmigration laws.

While a plan to eliminate driver's certificates for nonresidents has broad support from both parties, Democrats and Republicans have squabbled over who should be allowed to sponsor the measure _ and therefore be better positioned to take the credit after it passes.

The Tennessee House has some strange rules. Apparently, the Speaker of the House is allowed to cast a vote on any House committee. When the committee vote for a bill which required driver’s license tests to be given in English only and would have allowed State Troopers to be trained on enforcing immigration laws the subcommittee had a vote of 6 (in favor) and 5 (against). So Naifeh came in and cast a no vote for a tie so the bill failed
