Illegitimate Births Among Immigrants in AZ



Study: Overall Rate Now Nearly the Same as Natives, Hispanic Rate Higher

WASHINGTON, April 19 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- President Bush and
others argue that one of the benefits of immigration is that immigrants
have a stronger commitment to traditional family values than native-born
Americans. However, a new analysis of birth records by the Center for
Immigration Studies shows that the share of births to unmarried mothers
nationally is now about the same for both groups. In Arizona, illegitimacy
rates for immigrant mothers now exceed those of native mothers. This is
also true in a number of the state's counties. Among Hispanic immigrants in
the state, a majority of births are illegitimate.
Children born to unmarried parents are at higher risk for a host of
social problems. This may be especially true for the children of
immigrants, because they need strong families to adjust to life in America.
The report, entitled, "Illegitimate Nation: An Examination of Out of
Wedlock Births Among Immigrants and Natives," is embargoed until Tuesday,

This is just one more stupid BOOSHISM. How can one have family values if they are leaving their family members behind, and traveling ILLEGALLY to another country, breaking laws after they illegally sneak into the country to work?

So if one goes and robs a bank to feed his family, does that mean he has strong family values because he's willing to break law(s) in order to feed his family?
