    House Republicans Take a Stand

    House Republicans take a stand
    By Michelle Malkin · May 24, 2007 09:34 AM
Glad to know there are Republicans still out there who haven't been infected with the "Ted Kennedy is awesome" virus:

Key House Leaders will hold a press conference on this afternoon to highlight their opposition to the Senate’s amnesty proposal which would allow 12-20 million illegal immigrants to stay in the United States and be put on a path toward legalization and citizenship.
    WHO:

Immigration Reform Caucus Chairman Brian Bilbray (R-CA)
House Republican Chief Deputy Whip Eric Cantor (R-VA)
House Republican Conference Secretary John Carter (R-TX)
Ranking Judiciary Committee Member Lamar Smith (R-TX)
anking Homeland Security Committee Member Peter King (R-NY)
Ranking Subcommittee on Immigration, Citizenship, Refugees, Border Security, and International Law Member Steve King (R-IA)

You know....I bet the Senators vote this through, knowing the House will not pass it, thereby putting the Reps. in the hot seat!
Do not vote for Party this year, vote for America and American workers!

Does anyone know how many senators are up for re-election in 2008?

That "sweetie" Lindsey Graham is up for re-election in '08! I'm thinking of moving to South Carolina just so I can vote against this jerk.
I really believe that if there is a credible Republican OR Democratic candidate in the SC election, this guy is finished. He's driving the nails in his coffin right now. Next year he'll be wondering what happened. I'll bet a dam lot of Republicans will abandon him. I wouldn't vote for him no matter who was his opponent. I'm sure quite a few people feel exactly as I do.
    Get your suitcase ready Lindsey!
