    They keep insisting they are NOT criminals. Even if it was given that jumping the border was only a misdemeanor, the vast majority working with either a fake, stolen, or SSN, that is not theirs, is punishable by 5 yrs and $250,000 fine. There is NO doubt they ARE criminals! The statute SAYS entering the country illegally is a CRIME!
