Summary Officers contacted a 24 year old female who reported she had been sexually assaulted 9 days ago. During the assault, the female kicked the suspect’s face hard enough to fracture her foot. She was treated and released at a local hospital. Investigation revealed significant evidence and suspect testimony which lead to the arrest of one adult male who admitted he was in the United States illegally from Guatemala. A possible second suspect (also illegal) is expected. Sex Crimes Unit was notified but did not respond. The suspect was taken to CJC and placed on an Immigration hold (ICE Hold) for charges of Kidnapping, Sexual Assault, Second degree Assault, and other charges.
