HIGH COURT | Suit could cover 4 million kids

MIAMI -- Experts say Nora Sandigo doesn't have a prayer in her bid to get the U.S. Supreme Court to stop the deportation of illegal immigrants with U.S.-born children.

Sandigo, 42, a single mother of two who runs the nonprofit immigrant advocacy group American Fraternity, just nods -- she's heard it all before.

In the 1980s, the work of this former supporter of Nicaragua Contra rebels helped Central American immigrants and prompted Congress to pass a law protecting them in 1997.

Now illegal immigrants in Florida, New York, California and Illinois have asked Sandigo to become the legal guardian of their 600 children, so she could help the children if the parents are deported.

About 100 kids have been entered into her suit seeking to allow the parents to stay in the United States until Congress passes an immigration bill giving them legal status or until the Homeland Security Department provides them another avenue to remain.

The suit eventually could cover 4 million kids.

Sandigo's suit, filed directly with the Supreme Court, is a long shot. But, she said: "We have to try."

This is one more reason why the 14th Amendment has to be rescinded or repealed. What family does not have an anchor baby and that is the reason they have them. The 14th Amendment is not fair to the parents or the children. It separate them. The Dream Act would have done the same.
We have to push hard to get rid of the automatic birthright citizenship. Let every one know it is not in the best interest of anyone and it has to be doen away with. There is not an illegal family does not have one and the younger illegal are have them in hopes they will serve as an anchor.

Wouldn't it just be easier not to have these kids in the first place?

I mean, am I the ONLY PERSON ON THIS EARTH who feels that giving birth is a CHOICE, not a destiny? Am I the ONLY PERSON ON THIS EARTH who believes that the choice to have children should only be made if one is certain one can provide for those children?

Am I the ONLY PERSON ON THIS EARTH who feels that one can have a good life even if one doesn't have any children?

And finally, am I the ONLY PERSON ON THIS EARTH who is sick and tired of paying for other people's kids?
Calderon was absolutely right when he said...."Where there is a Mexican, there is Mexico".

Hun! Congress isn't going to pass a bill for them to stay.

This lawsuit is going to fail. They just lost another one that was based on speculation too.

No you are not and I agree with all that you have said 100%. We are dealing with illegal invaders who come from archaic countries with archaic cultures and religious beliefs at least 300 years behind the modern world. (See the catholic church and Islam). The women from these 3rd world cesspools are raised to believe that a woman's job of having as many babies as she can until her womb collapses is a phenomenal accomplishment. Never mind that the fact that you have no means of raising/supporting them, you worry about that after the 20th birth and if all else fails cross the border and let the US taxpayers foot the bill.

The fact that our tax dollars supports the LaRaza's, Lulac's and a multitude of other 3rd world propagandists groups that tell them to keep breeding because the death of other races who are not breeding will ensure their overthrowing America doesn't help either.

The millions of people who have come to this country "looking for a better life" courtesy of the US taxpayer don't have the foresight or the intellect to understand that once they have bled the taxpayers money, jobs and social services, they will have essentially recreated the very circumstances and cesspools they fled. They have this delusional belief that we have an endless supply of money, resources and patience. At the rate this country and all that it once stood for is collapsing it won't be long until they find out how ignorant they really are.

Once again, it is a cultural difference. Many Hispanics are guided by Catholicism in birth control matters - which means no birth control at all. (Let me add again the disclaimer that I am a Catholic. I don't want to appear to be taking shots at another's religion.)

Born and raised Catholic... but seeing as there are so many pedofiles in the Priesthood, I opted for my choice in birth control! If they can do what they please, then by GOD who are they to tell ME about birth control AND morality ?
