NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - The owners of a Newport News commercial fishing company face nearly $7 million in fines after being charged with employing more than 100 illegal immigrants over four years.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says Peabody Corp. president William Peabody and vice president Yvonne Peabody have agreed to plead guilty.

Prosecutors say the Peabodys knowingly employed 126 undocumented workers and disregarded warnings about the illegal activity from federal authorities.

The company was charged with conspiracy to harbor illegal immigrants for financial gain and misuse of Social Security numbers. The Peabodys were charged with unlawfully employing illegal immigrants. Yvonne Peabody also was charged with unauthorized access of a government computer.
