From the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a leftist biased organization which labels all which disagrees with their premises as "hate speech" from "hate organizations". Ironically, the SPLC got its start bringing and defending civil rights lawsuits, many of them specifically to help implement the racial integration of the public schools, during the 1960's.

Charter Schools are paid for from public funds as are all public schools, but they often are not held to the same standards of accountability to the public itself.
