Lumpkin GA: 12th annual Freedom Walk planned

DONALSONVILLE — A nonprofit civil rights group is gearing up for it’s 12th annual Freedom Walk, which will kick off today in Seminole County, officials said.
John Cole Vodicka, director of the Prison and Jail Project, said this year’s walk, which will cover more than 100 miles through six counties, will end with a rally and protest outside the gates of the Stewart Detention Center near Lumpkin.
“We do this to just remind people that there are people in our jails and prisons that are not always treated fairly,â€

If you committed a crime why should you expect to be treated with TVs, sports equipement, libaries, medical care, etc?
