Washington D.C.- Congressman Steve King (R-IA) today issued the following statement after writing the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) to request the release of its current scoring of the DREAM Act. Press reports indicate that Senate Democrats may be blocking a release of the score to cover-up the true costs of the legislation to the public. At least one published report suggests that CBO has scored the DREAM Act, legislation which rewards a defined class of illegal aliens with amnesty, as carrying a $20 billion cost.

The unemplyment figures are up, unemplyment has not been extended for Amricans that CAN'T find a job - face it folks jobs are gone - either overseas or to Mexico. Look at the pictures of the people living in tent cities and in unemplyment lines.
Yet the Democrats want to give ILLEGALS this much when our own citizens are are losing their homes.

The illegals get enough already, many get welfare, subsidized housing etc. If they have an anchor baby, they usully have other children also and they all benefit. Free lunch, ESL, WIC,.

We can't afford them anymore.

I'VE BEEN SAYING FOR QUITE SOMETIME THAT AMERICAN CITIZENS ARE IN DIRE STRAITS BECAUSE OF NO JOBS OUT THERE, AND THE ONLY PEOPLE OUR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS CONCERNED ABOUT IS "ILLEGALS FROM MESSYCO" WHO ARE HOLDING JOBS THAT THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO HAVE IN THE FIRST PLACE. There are different reports about the timing of the Amnesty vote. Congressman Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) was on MSNBC last night rallying illegal alien supporters saying the vote could come anytime today... Friday.

Please get back on the phones to call our refined targets list! Please use our new tips and please focus on the message which has the illegals in an uproar and also making threats.

Please keep repeating this to Congressional offices....

"Please oppose the Dream Act Amnesty because it would displace and replace millions of innocent American students, workers, and voters with illegal aliens!"
