U.S. is heading down a path toward French-type rioting

The reported unrest in France and the ensuing riots are highly disturbing to me because, in my opinion, the same social factors being blamed for that rioting have been developing here in our own country for some time now. Flawed immigration policy, and the inability to control our borders and enforce current applicable laws have permitted the growth of the likes of "Little Havanas" throughout the nation.

For many months, CNN and particularly Lou Dobbs have been reporting on the millions of illegal immigrants who have breached our borders easily and have taken up residence here. They have created an overload in our health, education and housing services beyond the capability of local budgets. They fail to assimilate into our culture, preferring to establish ethnic enclaves that tend to further isolate them from Americanism.

They in time will become unsatisfied with their lot and will, as those in France have done, turn on this government in unwarranted anger. This is not a new problem, but one which desperately needs attention.
