    Firms assail illegal-worker crackdown

    http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent ... db866.html

Janet MurguÃ*a, head of the National Council of La Raza advocacy group. "Congressional opponents of real immigration reform have been targeting legal immigrants and even U.S. citizens in recent debates. The distinction between undocumented and legal immigration and between immigrants and Latinos has been deliberately blurred."

La Raza has it all backwards. They are the ones bluring the distinction between Legal and Illegal by calling all Illegals, Immigrants; and calling those who oppose amnesty, racist and anti-immigrants.

The distinction between undocumented and legal immigration and between immigrants and Latinos has been deliberately blurred

HA HA HA HA....THIS IS FUNNY. LA RAZA AND ORGANIZATIONS THAT FOLLOW THEM WERE THE ONES WHO FIRST CAUSED THIS BLURRING OF THE LINE BETWEEN LEGAL AND ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.

THIS HAS WORKED AGAINST THE ENTIRE HISPANIC COMMUNITY. NOW THEY ARE WHINING ABOUT IT.....AND THE CHERRY ON THE CAKE IS THEY ARE NOT EVEN TAKING RESPONSIBLITY FOR THIS "BLURRING".

AS USUAL THEY BLAME OTHERS FOR THEIR MISTAKES.

THEY HAD NOT A LEG TO STAND ON IN DEFENDING ILLEGALS....SO THEY BLURRED THE LINE BETWEEN LEGAL AND ILLEGAL...TO PLAY THE RACIST CARD. NOW IT IS BACKFIRING ON THEM.

C-SPAN had their taped conference on the air a while ago. I stayed up to watch it. Did you know that a 20% minority shut the Senate's phone system down with hateful calls, but the senators are still devoted to comprehensive immigration? -- Ceceila Munoz. She looks white. I wonder if she's white/hispanic or just married to a hispanic? They're going to go for the DREAM act to give themselves a "shot of victory in the arm."

They are also going all-out to get hispanics to apply for citizenship and to get them to vote. Are you aware that only 25% of the voting eligible American public actually votes? We have got to get busy on this. We need a focus campaign on informing our neighbors, our churches, everybody we come into contact with. My local paper has just set up a blog. We need to get on these. Dixie, Kate, can we get a focus campaign set up in this area?

Uh.... they also discussed using civil disobedience but shied away from discussing actual plans.

    C-SPAN

For all of you Florida voters that think Sen. Mel Martiez (R-FL) has backed off the illegal immigration issue "Think Again"

    I watched a re-run last night on C-SPAN (Originally played on 7/24/07)

La Raza was all over the screen along with high ranking officials.

Neck deep in the discussion was Nilda Pedros (Senior Policy Advisor) for Sen. Mel Martiez (R-FL) .... as a Republican in his district (I want this idiots job) no I dont want to do it, but I want to put this man in the un-employment line. I have to tell you I was hot. The anger I have for this corrupt politician will help me pushing to get this indivual removed from office .. Florida ... this man needs to go

Listening to individuals talking about civil disobediance on national TV should push every one of you to spread the word what these people are pushing on your dime ....

by the way... we were basically called racist and the democrat's are pushing the old (Republicans are racist issue to grab votes)...

hmmm, this isnt the Democratic party my father belonged to

Faye is so right. This is the single most important thing we can be doing in an on-going basis. Everyone should organize in their own way with lists of people they can personally urge to register. Pay particular attention to young people who have just reached voting age, and newcomers to the area. Make another list for election day and make calls the day before to remind everyone to vote. When I have worked in campaigns we actually stand at the precinct with our list in hand and mark off the voters as they come to the poll. If they haven't appeared by mid afternoon we start calling.

Please continue to talk about the issue and try to recruit those who are not involved. It is hard for young families to add anything to their schedules between work, school, little league, dancing lessions, but they are the very ones who will inherit the mess if we fail.

YEA.. you got the Jargon RIGHT!!

[Seinfeld’s ‘Soup Nazi’] .. MORE soup for you!

I too continue to hear the ABUSE of the DECEPTIVE terms: "undocumented worker, immigrant, etc".. and I'm getting TIRED of listening to and/or reading PROPAGANDA about the illegal ‘immigration’ problem.

    They're NOT immigrants, they're ILLEGALS!

Whether it be ILLEGAL: “ALIENS", “MIGRANTSâ€
No need for ‘mass roundups’, simply ENFORCE EXISTING law*& MANDATE the worker ID, ..but SEVEN amnesties? Hmm, WHO cried wolf?!

The "US citizens" she is talking about are anchor babies, who should have never been citizens in the first place.
