Mexico reconsiders strategy to oppose immigration laws

The Mexican government is revising its policy of opposing U.S. state laws designed to crack down on illegal immigration. The Mexican ambassador to the United States met this week in Atlanta with Mexican consulate officials from states with some of the toughest laws and proposed legislation against illegal immigration.

[b]“The objective was to review and strengthen the strategy displayed by the government of Mexico to defend the fundamental rights of our citizens against state and local initiatives that are contrary to their rights and interests,â€

again this citizen of the world nonsense. Mexico has been exporting their poor to the US for decades, and now we have a significant portion of their poor, here, being educated, taken care of healthcare and welfare. We have basically been the economic and social security valve for Mexico.
Our government knows that, I am sure.

The embassy has not yet announced how its policy will change but left little doubt it would reflect growing outrage in Mexico against state laws intended to exclude illegal immigrants.
Guess what. There's growing outrage in the U.S. over the millions of illegals who have invaded our states, ruined our schools, and overwhelmed our hospitals.

Mexican diplomats describe the laws as racist.
And U.S. citizens acurately describe illegals as racist.

i really dont care if Mexico is mad or not! its because of them that many states are making their own laws.
Its because mexico encourages people to come north because it keeps its own people down..
Its because of the government comic book a few years ago that told people how to come here illegally that is the problem.

Laws are not racist. only people are racist. and the Mexican Consulate people mentioned in this article who do not like the laws are the ones who are the true racists. America has a right to protect its people and the states have rights to protect the people who live there..

Mexican consulate people, if you dont like it, stop telling your poor to come here. Close your 52 Consulate offices across america and go back to mexico. I dont care if you have any offices open in the US myself

I pesonally think they have worn out the race card. Most Mexicans are Indio and European and don't speak ENGLISH and have moved into a country that is also predominatly mixed ethnicities it has nothing to do with "race" and every thing to do with the ecomony.

Mexico should spend their money on their citizens instead of running up here and spending it on so many consulates and conferences geared toward plotting to keep their income stream coming.

We can't afford them, they are Mexicans a nationality not a special "race" they are mixed breeds the same as US citizens are.

If they accept the protection of Mexico, they are not under our jurisdiction and they should take their welfare tickets with them. JMO

Unless Obama and the hispanic press scream the race issue...the American public does not even consider it a race thing. Its LEGAL v/s ILLEGAL. Is clear Obama doesn't want to rock his boat with his hispanic buddies. Sure he is gonna say he is pushing for amnesty and dream acts. Fact is more and more pressure from states are showing the true wave of the future...its not allowing illegals to flood in here...its a wave to arrest and deport illegals and to shut the border behind them.

Time we make a huge statue of the flying finger and point it to mexico over the border.
