UNM's Hispanic community: We will never surrender!

Thank you all for commenting on the opinion letter written by Patricia Roybal Caballero. Hopefully you can be present during a DREAM Act forum where the League of United Latin American Citizens will be sponsoring the event alongside El Centro de la Raza, and MexSA sometime in April.
It is actually quite sad that the majority of this state’s students do not have the resources or equal opportunities to consider themselves higher-education students as you all do.
It is that ignorant, selfish attitude that we Hispanics battle every day and will continue to do so until we have achieved equal representation. It is politically correct to say there is power in numbers, something Hispanics in this state are not short of.
Opponents of equality, hear this: We will not stop. We will never surrender the noble fight for our people.
Hope to see you at our forum to discuss a path to citizenship for immigrant students. Announcements for the set date of the forum will be in the Daily Lobo sometime next week.

Wow! Those are interesting comments. Look at all the comments by legal immigrants and Hispanic citizens who oppose the DREAM ACT. Read the jargon of the proponents of the Dream Act, who all sound like something straight out of Marxism.

We, the U.S. citizens, will not stand down to the arrogant racist bigots of the ILLEGAL HISPANIC ALIENS.

We will, do whatever it takes, to remove, every ILLEGAL HISPANIC ALIEN and other ILLEGAL ALIENS from our sovereign nation, the U.S.

ILLEGAL HISPANIC ALIENS and their arrogant ILLEGAL HISPANIC CHILDREN have had SPECIAL PREFERRED TREATMENT, too long. Now, it is time for us, the U.S. citizens of this country, to teach the ILLEGAL HISPANIC ARROGANT ALIEN BRATS, it is time for you to go home.

You are going to have to fight, bleed and die, to get what we have had to fight for. This great nation. Reality is soon to set in, for these, ARROGANT ILLEGAL HISPANIC ALIEN BRATS.

Impressive! I hope Annie Jo is a student at UNM! Many great comments at the link denouncing the racist Celestino Caballero and his master plan for anarchy and it so seems, violence if necessary, to get what his illegal cohorts believe they are entitled.

I can smell their socialist movement. Redistribution of all assets, excluding our very culture which gave us the tools to excel.

No, it's the illegal aliens' ignorant, selfish attitude that makes them feel they should have rights they are not entitled to. On the contrary, if you are in this country illegally, you are only entitled to be treated humanely. Civil rights are reserved exclusively for the American people. And here's a news flash, you little snit, illegal aliens ARE NOT the responsibility of the American taxpayer. But unfortunately our government ignores that fact.

Thanks for the info on Bill O'Reilly, by the way. Very helpful to know what's going on with all the talking heads.

I also posted to this article with a response/rebuttal to Anselmo Solis Marte, who in my humble opinion is the epitome of a racist.
