Depite busts, suspected illegal thugs may be back

Feds rounded up dozens of suspected members of the notoriously bloodthirsty El Salvadoran gang MS-13 in Greater Boston this week, but keeping them out of the country after deportation is a daunting task, law enforcement officials said.

Many violent illegal immigrants manage to sneak back into the States within months of arrest, said Boston police Commissioner Ed Davis.

“When I was working drug cases (in Lowell) I would talk to suspects who would laugh about how easy it was to get back in the ‘hole’ down in Texas. It’s an aggravating part of this business, to have people come back after they have been deported from the country. Especially when people have been deported for serious crimes, like drug dealers or violent felons,â€
