22 Alleged Zetas Arrested in San Fernando Massacre

MEXICO - More people have have been arrested in connection with the massacre in San Fernando.

The Mexican Attorney General says 22 new suspects will be held for 40 days while they investigate.

The men, connected with the Zetas, are held on murder, organized crime and imprisonment charges.

This brings the total to 55 people who have been arrested in the murders, including 16 San Fernando police officers.

145 bodies were recovered from mass graves discovered earlier this month. Authorities in Mexico City are still working to identify the victims.

even if they are not charged with any of the 145 murders,. and they are part of a drug cartel, keep them in jail after the 40 days and start other investigations to charge them with anything having to do with drug smuggling and other murders

There is so much corruption in Mexico Government,Military,Police and even judges nothing will ever be done to these murders it is all just a big show.

Mexico's prisons are even more over crowded than ours, with all of the criminals they lock up.
Plus they don't have the death penalty to help cut the over crowding there.

I made this judgement after watching a PBS show about Mexican corruption last night.

They focused on the mother who tried to find justice for her daughter who had been murderd by her boy friend who was involved with the drug cartels. Finally the mother forced his arrest and trial.The boy friend told the 3 member court he beat his girl friend to death because she made him mad. He cut up her body and threw it in the dump but the judges found him NOT GUILTY. Why ??? Because they are paid off by the cartels.

Later the mother was shot to death by an unknown assailant while she was protesting his release. All this is on video,even her being killed.
