Like many other Senators, Kyl has blatantly lied to his constituents, and is ignoring their opinion which is 10 to 1 against this bill.

U.S. Sen. Jon Kyl is at the center of the national debate on immigration, helping to broker a bipartisan deal that has inflamed passions nationwide. But don't look to him for comment on the state's immigration legislation.
"I'm not going to advise them," Kyl said when asked about the employer-sanction bill making its way through the Arizona Legislature.
The Arizona Republican did acknowledge that the drumbeat for immigration reform coming from this state, and others, is getting through to Washington.
"It's dawning on business and others in Washington that we really do need to act," Kyl said.
Kyl said his office has been swamped with angry, sometimes vitriolic, reaction. He estimated that sentiment is running "10 to 1" against the Senate legislation.
"At the fringe, there are some folks who should remember what their mother told them on how to act," Kyl said during a meeting Friday with the editorial board of The Arizona Republic.
