Authorities Say Suspected Drug Smuggler Used Fake Business Truck

PENITAS - A fake delivery truck now belongs to the state of Texas. The driver is behind bars for hauling more than a half-ton of drugs.

It looks like any other overnight delivery truck. Only this one wasn't part of any legal business. Inside sat tightly wrapped, oil-laced large bundles of marijuana packed to the brim.

The suspect carrying the load risked it all to get away. State troopers and supporting law enforcement officers were led on a chase along the river. Treacherous conditions made driving difficult.
